Quick Facts Location: 65 West Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway, NJ 08240 Start Date: 07/01/2026 Position Duration: Starting July 2026, with 1-2 weeks coverage, ongoing scheduling possible Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, with weekend call (2+ weekends/month, non-consecutive) Hours/Week: 40+ Employment Type: Locum-to-Perm potential Licensure: Requires New Jersey State Medical License (applicant must be eligible) Experience: Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology, with BLS & ACLS required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate (discussed upon application) Weekly Pay: via direct deposit Benefits: Medical insurance (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, travel, lodging, and other approved expenses Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do Provide non-invasive cardiology consultative services, including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, EKGs, and treadmill stress tests Manage inpatient and outpatient adult patients in a hospital setting Collaborate with a team of cardiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care Supervise patient care in a fast-paced cardiac unit, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols Document patient encounters using Oracle/Cerner EMR system Participate in weekend call coverage (non-consecutive weekends, ratio 2:4) What You Need Required: New Jersey State Medical License (or eligible) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology BLS & ACLS certifications Experience with echocardiography, TEE, EKGs, stress testing At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience Preferred: Experience in inpatient cardiology care Ability to efficiently handle hospital-based procedures and documentation About the Assignment This opportunity is at a prominent hospital with 600 beds total, including 23 ICU beds, serving adult and geriatric patients. You will be doing inpatient and outpatient workload, supporting a team of 24 cardiologists.
