Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Lancaster, TX. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens as directed. Administer medications and injections as authorized by the physician. Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records. Handle patient billing and insurance documentation. Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems. CPR certification preferred. This position is based in a medical office setting in Dallas, TX.
