  • Coordination – Maintains a team mindset when working with engineering and manufacturing; balances daily production needs with longer-term process improvements.

  • Influence – Works with engineering to drive tooling, NPI, and process improvements; helps build understanding of risk in process deviations and variations.

  • Organization and structure – Keeps workstations stocked and status boards updated; manages out-of-cycle tasks efficiently to avoid production delays.

  • Communication and relationship – Builds working relationships with operators, supervisors, and engineering staff; communicates clearly and consistently across shifts.

  • Ownership – Takes accountability for identifying and resolving issues to root cause; supports a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction.

  • Troubleshooting – Applies problem-solving techniques to address issues impacting velocity; escalates concerns as needed to ensure smooth plant operation.

  • Acts as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and other functions to expedite product flow.

  • Continually addresses issues using problem-solving techniques that impact velocity, resolving issues to root cause.

  • Proactively identifies and addresses potential problems or constraints in the production process for improvements or cost reduction.

  • Interacts with engineering to drive tooling, NPI, and process improvements.

  • Supports engineering and manufacturing with data collection, compiling information and analysis to support process control.

  • Coordinates information flow, reviewing shift reports and connecting with supervisors to determine areas for focus, communicating material requests, and providing updates on issues and resolutions to appropriate functions within the plant.

  • Keeps workstations stocked with material replenishment.

  • Supports operations as a contact for out-of-cycle tasks related to raw materials, parts, waste removal, moving kanban cards, updates to electronic productivity and status boards, missing instructions, and quality issues.

  • Coordinates with engineering to understand risk of deviations and variations in processes.

  • Minimum of an Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of one year of experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

  • 2 years of work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

  • Understanding of production processes and manufacturing related metrics.

  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
