Oviedo, FL (Near UCF) Optical Test/Holography Intern Job ID: OG12-OTI6 Position Type: Internship (15-20hr/wk for 6-9 months) Desired Education: pursuing technical degree, UCF students are welcome! Job Description The successful candidate will perform test and characterization of novel holographic optical elements and provide final certification of company products. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and preferably some hands-on experience in optical testing and measurement equipment. Knowledge of optics and optical physics is a strong asset. Knowledge of major computer programs is a plus. The position requires a minimum commitment of 15-20 hr/wk for 6-9 months. Job Requirements Technical education or training in electronics, optics, or physical sciences with emphasis on optics, photonics, or laser systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, optical, and electrical specifications using drawings and manuals. Experience with LabView and MathCAD is a plus.
