Job Description
Retail Pharmacist

Schedule

Variable day shifts, including weekday and weekend coverage. Weekday shifts: 7:30 AM-5:30 PM or 8:30 AM-6:30 PM, with lunch breaks. Saturday/Sunday shifts: 7:30 AM-1:30 PM. Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-6 PM; Saturday/Sunday, 8 AM-1 PM.

Assignment Details

Average prescription volume: approximately 115 prescriptions per day; highest reported daily volume: just over 240 prescriptions. Pharmacy technicians available for support most weekdays. 340B-covered retail pharmacy.

Requirements

• Active Oregon Pharmacist license required prior to start.
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with 340B pharmacy operations preferred.
• Familiarity with Liberty pharmacy software preferred.
• Experience administering vaccinations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients.
• Provide medication counseling and ensure proper use of prescriptions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Administer vaccinations as required.
• Maintain patient records and manage inventory.
