Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, set up necessary instruments and supplies, and function as the scrub person throughout procedures to support patient safety and efficient surgical workflow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Current National Certified Surgical Technologist certification through NBSTSA OR certification as Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• BCLS (BLS) certification.
• Recent operating room experience with demonstrated knowledge of surgical principles and skills.
• Experience or specialization in Orthopedic trauma, Neurosurgery, Spine, Gynecology, and Urology required.
• Ability to operate sterilizers, adjust operating tables and accessory devices, and handle surgical instruments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting as required.
• Ability to coordinate communication among personnel, physicians, and patients and to work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a certified OR/surgical technologist.
• Experience in a high-acuity hospital operating room setting.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:0017:30.
• On call required during four 10-hour weekday shifts, Monday through Friday, 07:0017:30.
