Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Advanced knowledge of neuro anatomy and specialized instrumentation
• Experience with transsphenoidal pituitary surgery
• Experience with LITT (Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy)
• Experience with GammaTile brachytherapy implantation
• Experience with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)
• Experience with additional complex cranial procedures
• Experience with complex spine procedures

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 0630-1700
• On-call requirement: 10-12 call shifts per month
• Weekend requirement: Call shifts only
• Holiday requirement: Any holiday that falls on regularly scheduled shift
