Seasonal/Variable Hourly PositionFacilities - Housekeeping Department: Park Services Employment type: Seasonal/Variable Hourly Work Schedule: varied hours including weekends, evenings and holidays Reports to: Facilities Supervisor and LeadEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRegularly clean and clear tables, chairs, walkways, windows, floors, restrooms and wallsMaintain the appearance of the facilities and groundsTrash collection and disposalSpecial clean up situations are to be expectedProperly use all safety equipmentMaintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employeesProvide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient mannerAssist customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenitiesFollow all park policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsApplicants must be at least 16 years of ageAbility to accept guidance and supervisionAbility to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff membersBe aware, attentive, and work well with othersEnergy and enthusiasm for long daysAbility to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protectionMust be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needsPhysical RequirementsMust be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 45 pounds.Ability to climb stairs
