Equipment Maintenance Technician (12 hour rotation, Night Shift)

This Associate Tech Engineering I role supports equipment optimization, maintenance, and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility operating on a 12-hour night shift rotation. The position involves troubleshooting equipment failures, coordinating technical support across multiple disciplines, and ensuring adherence to FDA and industry standards in the inspection and packaging area.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical support on engineering, regulatory, compliance, and equipment optimization strategies
- Ensure equipment maintenance and cleaning systems comply with FDA, industry, and regulatory standards
- Investigate and repair equipment failures through troubleshooting and analysis
- Interpret utility, process system, and P&ID plans for maintenance planning
- Assist during regulatory agency inspections and provide technical documentation support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years technical engineering experience
- High school diploma/GED with 6 years technical engineering experience
- Mechanical equipment repair experience in manufacturing settings
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use digital multimeter
- Knowledge of PLC, packaging equipment, and vision inspection systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Capacity to work night shift on 12-hour rotation schedule
