Registered Nurse Nicu 13-week Assignment System Pool Sro

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced Nicu Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:

System Pool and Seasonal Pool- 13-week full-time Nicu assignments- unit provided schedule - block scheduling is not available.

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.

Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments

Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Registered Nurse license

Bls

AcLS(AHA)

Associate degree in nursing (ASN). BSN is preferred.

2 years RN current hospital experience in Nicu.

Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.

Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.

Flexibility

Travel Nurse experience preferred.

Facility: BayCare Health System Staffing Resource Office

Location: varies based on health system needs

Status: Pool, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: rotating days and nights to meet the needs of the unit

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
