CNC Operator All Shifts

Must be open to accommodating 5:00am-1:30pm, 6:00am-2:30pm, 1:30pm-9:00pm, 2:30pm-10:00pm

Job Summary: The CNC Cutting Operator I will operate cutting equipment by loading material, selecting cut files, monitoring operation to ensure parts meet quality standards and department schedules are met. This role will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and customer interaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and run CNC cut files on correctly identified materials.
• Record operational or production data.
• Start machines, monitor operations, make adjustments as needed, and notify manager if maintenance or repairs are needed.
• Feed materials or products into or through equipment, locate and zero to cut file.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machine and adhere to safety guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adjust machine controls to produce specified products.
• Follow daily schedule to ensure master schedule deadlines are maintained.
• Keep accurate inventory of machine consumables, preventative maintenance items, and PPE to contact management for ordering as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience (required):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous experience required.

Education and Experience (preferred):

• Experience in manufacturing.
• CNC machine operation experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):

• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred):

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to accurately read, understand and demonstrate how to use a tape measure to the nearest 1/16" of an inch.
• Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
