Quality Engineering Intern

This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns may be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI, or at a Stellantis manufacturing facility in the Metro Detroit area. Assignments may require travel to suppliers and manufacturing facilities. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2027. Supplier Quality Engineering ensures capable supplier processes in order to guarantee the right quality and quantity of parts, on time, that meet customers' expectations. Supplier Quality Engineers partner with suppliers to review manufacturing processes, develop quality systems and ensure the highest quality components will be provided for our vehicles. Supplier Quality Engineers make sure all supplied parts are robust, repeatable and conform to dimensional and performance requirements. We strive for best-in-class quality and warranty by developing suppliers who provide zero defects and exceed customer expectations. Supplier Quality Engineers utilize skills to identify and resolve vehicle issues at both Stellantis manufacturing plants and supplier facilities. Internship projects are available within multiple commodity areas (Body/Exterior, Interior, Chassis, Electrical, Propulsion and ePropulsion), the Supplier Integration Management team, the Process, Methods and Warranty team or within the Supplier Quality Assembly team.
