Come help us make every talent moment Phenomenal!We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Manager to join our team.Role is onsite based - onsite 5 days/wk in our Ambler, PA locationJob SummaryAs a Principal Product Manager on Phenom's platform team, you will drive the strategy and development of reusable platform capabilities that power multiple products across the talent lifecycle. This is an integrator role: you'll identify where customer and product needs converge, and turn that convergence into shared, well-governed components — rather than one-off features — that other product teams build on.Phenom's platform spans several fast-evolving areas, including intelligence and orchestration capabilities that are increasingly agentic. We're looking for someone with the judgment to know what should become a reusable platform primitive versus what shouldn't, and the technical depth to partner closely with engineering on how that gets built. Experience with intelligence layers, workflow automation, or AI agents is a strong plus, but what matters most is a proven track record of building platform components that other teams successfully build on top of.We're also looking for a hands-on AI product leader — someone who has prototyped and shipped AI-powered solutions, and who actively uses AI to accelerate their own product craft.What You'll DoIdentify opportunities across Phenom's product suite where building a shared, reusable capability creates more leverage than solving the problem locallyOwn the strategy and roadmap for one or more core platform components, defining extensibility patterns, governance, and integration contracts that other teams rely onPartner closely with engineering to deliver capabilities that are reliable, scalable, and secure enough to power multiple products simultaneouslyWork across product teams company-wide to drive adoption of platform capabilities and resolve tension between platform consistency and individual product needsEngage directly with enterprise customers and technical admin users to balance flexibility with the guardrails large organizations requirePrototype and validate new capabilities — particularly AI-driven ones — from early concept through production, with a bias toward fast, low-cost validationDefine success metrics that tie platform investment to measurable adoption and business impactEstablish governance standards that keep shared components trustworthy and consistent as usage scalesWhat You've Done8+ years of product management experience in SaaS, with meaningful time owning platform, infrastructure, or shared-component product areasA demonstrated track record of building reusable platform capabilities that other product teams adopted and built on — not just shipping standalone featuresExperience with intelligence layers, workflow automation, or AI agents is a strong plus, but not requiredA track record of building and shipping AI-powered products — from early prototypes through production scaleDeep comfort partnering with highly technical teams on backend or platform systems, and the technical fluency to earn their trustExperience owning ambiguous, evolving scope in a fast-moving organization, and defining structure where none existedA demonstrated habit of using AI tools in your own daily workflow — not just advocating for AI in the productExcellent judgment and communication — able to move fast, decide with incomplete information, and bring people along across product, engineering, and customer-facing teamsSalaryExpected salary range $165,000 - $180,000Please note the Salary range is subject to change in the future in accordance with Phenom’s policiesBenefitsWe want you to be your best self and to pursue your passions!Benefits/programs to support holistic employee healthFlexible hours and working schedulesGrowing organization with career pathing and development opportunitiesTons of perks and extras in every location for all Phenoms!Diversity, Equity, & InclusionOur commitment to diversity runs deep!
