Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience to join our dynamic team for a 13-week assignment. The role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.Unit InformationLocation: City, StateUnit Type: Emergency DepartmentNumber of Beds: 12Staffing: Day Shift: 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech, 1 Unit SecretaryNight Shift: 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech, 1 Unit SecretaryPatient Ratios: 4:1Key ResponsibilitiesPerform critical assessments and develop care plans for emergency patients.Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.Assist with various procedures, including STEMI care and stroke/tPA protocols.Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.Required QualificationsCurrent RN licensure with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience.Certifications in BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, and TNCC.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Neuro and Cardiac nursing.Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.Dress CodePreferred scrub color is royal blue; however, any solid scrubs are acceptable.
