Description:
The Cath Lab Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting in preparing patients for cath lab procedures.
This includes scrubbing procedures and monitoring and recording hemodynamic pressures.
The Cath Lab Technician demonstrates professional development and clinical competency.
Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to assist in preparing the procedure room and patient for the procedure.
Addresses health educational needs for patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations.
Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
Performs other related duties as needed.
Accountability for results is essential.
