Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit. This position is ideal for both new graduates and experienced professionals who thrive in a patient-centered and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients recovering from strokes, hip fractures, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Provide support for activities of daily living (ADLs) to enhance patient recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using EHR systems.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing and rehabilitation staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• COTA certification and licensure in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Open to new graduates with relevant education.
