Job Duties Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.(Do not delete, move or over-write this statement) Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC. Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures. Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate. Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person. Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards. Other duties as requested or assigned. Travel to other Otolaryngology Offices required - Abington, Cherry Hill, Yardley and Center City. Minimum Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors. Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and/or visitors. Ability to process and interpret data. Ability to multi task while managing a time sensitive workload.
