Marketing Intern

We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations.

About the Role:

The Marketing Intern will play an essential role in supporting marketing initiatives by contributing to the development and execution of marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and engagement. The Marketing Intern will provide hands-on support in various aspects of marketing, including content creation, social media management, market research, and data analysis. The Marketing Intern will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help drive initiatives that align with the company's mission and goals in a dynamic business environment. Ultimately, the Marketing Intern will help deliver measurable results that contribute to the growth and visibility of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or design sofrware.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms like Google Analytics or social media insights.
• Previous internship or work experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and content management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms to increase audience interaction and brand presence.
• Support marketing initiatives in conducting market research and analyzing consumer data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Help coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy and monitoring performance metrics.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative marketing ideas and promotional materials.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using analytics tools to inform future strategies.
