DePuy Synthes seeks a US Trade Operations Risk and Valuation Lead to oversee import compliance, customs management, and regulatory interactions. The role manages trade operations controls, government inquiries, and compliance risk for the orthopedics business in West Chester, PA or Raynham, MA.
Responsibilities
- Manage government interactions for penalties, liquidated damages, and customs inquiries
- Lead reconciliation and financial reporting for import values, duties, and entry corrections
- Perform internal risk assessments, audits, and entry-level compliance testing
- Oversee customs valuation matters and maintain compliance documentation oversight
- Support liability management for tax and import compliance issues with Finance and Legal
Requirements
- BA/BS in Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Extensive U.S. import operations and customs compliance experience
- Deep knowledge of CBP requirements, HTS classification, and customs documentation
- Experience managing government audits, penalties, and compliance remediation
- Proficiency with ACE reporting and trade compliance management platforms
- Cross-functional coordination skills across Trade, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams
- Strong analytical ability with reporting tools and compliance tracking systems
