Local Delivery Driver (CDL w/Hazmat) Location: San Francisco, CA Salary & Benefits Pay: $36/hour for CDL A holders; $34/hour for CDL B holders. Potential monthly bonuses. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6 am to 5 pm. Sign‑on bonus: $3,000 paid in two installments. Referral bonus: $500. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cylinder Handling : Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations. Record Keeping : Accurately record deliveries and pickups on a manifest, obtain customer signatures, and collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders for return to plant or branch. Safety and Compliance : Adhere to Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and regulations from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA. Warehouse Support : Assist in the warehouse or dock as needed. Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL with hazardous materials (Hazmat) and air brakes endorsements. Hazmat endorsement is mandatory; candidates lacking it will not be considered. Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements. No more than two traffic convictions, or no more than two at‑fault accidents in the last three years; or at most one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last three years. No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance within the last seven years. Work in a drug‑free environment. Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material handling equipment aid. One year of CDL driving experience within the last five years or proof of recent trucking school completion. Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience. Additional year of CDL experience.
