Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Treating cats and dogs, this hospital offers an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality companion animal care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing preventative, medical, surgical, and wellness care for cats and dogs. You'll perform routine examinations, diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, carry out surgical procedures, and promote preventative healthcare through client education. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with the veterinary team to deliver the highest standard of patient care, and building strong relationships with clients through compassionate communication. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview process. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, delivering comprehensive preventative care, routine wellness examinations, diagnostic evaluations, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and urgent care for companion animals. The practice also provides laser therapy. It is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, a full IDEXX in-house laboratory. Facilities include five spacious exam rooms designed with patient comfort in mind and pheromone-infused environments to help create a low-stress experience for patients. The hospital is Fear Free Certified and is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Sundays.

Team
You'll be joining a team of 4 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
