Title: DesignerDepartment: Laser, Design, and Die (LDD)Location: Hawn AvenueWage Category: Non-ExemptReport To: Assistant Director, Laser, Design, and DieDuties include but are not limited to:Generate designs for non-skid kits or pieces by utilizing the AutoCAD programAssist in the design processAssist in meeting production goalsEstablish drawings and checklist for quality assurance inspectionsEnsure designs are properly installed in laser cutter before manufacturingMaintain detailed records of all designs in readily assessable filesCommunicate effectively with military personnel and equipment manufacturers both verbally and in writingBe familiar with costing practicesBe available to work flexible hours when requiredEnsure detailed records of all engineering drawings and designs are accurate and formatted correctly on servers in readily assessable filesResearch and development of new products and equipmentHave a firm operating knowledge of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machine operations and softwareAll other duties deemed necessaryHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredFormal training on AutoCAD software or two years of practical experienceGeneral operating knowledge of office machinery and computer systemsGeneral operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe softwareMust be a self-starter and work efficiently without supervisionMust be self-motivated to finish a task in a timely and efficient manner #J-18808-Ljbffr
