Sales Associate (PT Nights) - Pets - Pierre, SD

The Sales Associate is responsible to assist customers throughout the retail store. The primary function of the Sales Associate/Pets is to provide excellent customer service in the Pets Department. This may include Pet Grooming as well as greeting customers in the store, cashier responsibilities, answering product related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other duties as assigned by manager. Daily duties will include stocking 10-50lb dog and cat food bags. Nights and weekend availability is needed. Prefer to have forklift experience, but willing to train the right person. Will consist of heavy lifting and doing loadouts for customers .
Pay Range: $15.00-$16.50 Depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Greet customers as they shop in the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.


2. Pet Grooming


3. Price store merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.


4. Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.


5. Assist in receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.


6. Responsible for assisting in cycle counts.


7. Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.


8. Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.


9. Responsible for accurate cash handling.


10. Responsible for handling customer returns.

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred
