PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 6-month contract position, starting on November 2nd.

Shift: 5x8.0

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directions. Responsibilities include the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring effective rehabilitation programs, and serving as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.

Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.

Participate in student program as assigned, fostering a positive learning environment.

Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education.

Adhere to patient and employee safety protocols, including safe handling procedures and adherence to safety policies.

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.

Minimum of 6 months to 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.

Current CPR Certification.

Active and applicable state license for practicing physical therapy.
