Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will have over three years of personal injury law experience in Virginia and be a member of the Virginia Bar. This full-time role involves case management, client advocacy, and mentoring junior associates. Duties Manage all aspects of case management, including client intake and case preparation. Conduct case evaluations and draft pleadings, discovery, and motions. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate settlements. Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and staff. Mentor and guide less-experienced associates. Requirements Virginia Bar admission required; DC and MD Bar admissions are advantageous. Minimum of three years of personal injury experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Education Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in the Virginia Bar. Skills Familiarity with civil procedure. Strong research and writing abilities. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines independently.
