Overview
We are seeking a skilled custom Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mig and tig welding. We custom make decorative railings for residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have experience working with Steel and Aluminum metals and possess a strong understanding of the fabrication processes. . This role involves interpreting blueprints, welding, and assembling the railings to create a high-quality product. The Metal Fabricator will work in a fast-paced environment, often on construction sites, and must adhere to industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and read blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for metal fabrication.
• Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including Stick welding, to join metal parts.
• Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers to measure and ensure precision in fabrication.
• Assemble metal components according to project requirements.
• Conduct soldering tasks as needed for specific projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, including welding - Mig and tig welding
• Familiarity with construction site environments and safety practices.
• Proficient in using measuring tools.
• Strong understanding of basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to metal fabrication is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
