Qualified Staffing is hiring for a Senior HR Generalist & Recruiter for our client in Macon, Ga!

Location:  on-site, Macon, GA, Travel may be required (5%). International travel if necessary.

Core Hours: Monday - Friday

Available openings: 1

Relocation Assistance:  Not Available. Applicants should reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate independently prior to their start date.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000/year

Compensation Classification: FLSA Status: Salaried exempt (subject to review based on actual job duties and compensation)

Job Summary:

The Senior HR Generalist & Recruiter plays a key role in building and supporting a strong, engaged workforce. This position leads full-cycle recruitment while also partnering with leadership and employees on key HR initiatives, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and policy administration. As a trusted HR partner, this role helps identify and attract top talent, strengthen the employee experience, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on problem solver who builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and can confidently balance the day-to-day needs of recruiting with broader HR responsibilities.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including manufacturing, technical, and professional positions
• Develop job postings, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, 
• Build recruiting strategies to maintain compensation trends to support team members
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive and welcoming new hire experience
• Support employee relations by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and conflict resolution
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies at all locations
• Support HR initiatives such as engagement programs, internal communications, and retention strategies
• Take ownership of metrics related to recruitment and KPIs related to Manager
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate reports as needed
• Perform administrative tasks related to recruiting, employee files, and manager communications
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platform to meet organizational goals
• Assist with administering performance reviews, corrective actions, and policy updates

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a combined HR generalist and recruiting role
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and full-cycle recruiting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
• Experience supporting a manufacturing or multi-site workforce
• This position may require extended travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification
