Medical Device Assembler

Join a dedicated team of over 15 professionals focused on manufacturing life-saving medical devices. As a Medical Device Assembler, you will assemble, test, inspect, and repair critical products such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), and related components within a cleanroom environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will follow detailed instructions and adhere to rigorous quality, safety, and cleanroom standards to ensure the highest product integrity.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, inspect, test, and repair medical devices and components using specialized assembly tools.
  • Follow written work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and strict quality standards.
  • Maintain product traceability and complete accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Adhere to cleanroom gowning and contamination control procedures to ensure a sterile manufacturing environment.
  • Communicate production issues and improvement ideas to supervisors and team members effectively.
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in medical device assembly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and assembly procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
