AWS Data Engineer
Location: Fort Mill, SC Duration: Longterm Contract Note: We need candidate to work onsite from Day 1 (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integrations across systems
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing using AWS Glue, Lambda, and S3
- Develop and optimize data workflows using Python and SQL
- Perform Spark job optimization for performance and cost efficiency
- Support and execute Sqoop-to-AWS Glue migrations
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with analytics, application, and platform teams for data consumption needs
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Proficiency in AWS services: Glue, Lambda, S3
- Experience with Apache Spark and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipelines
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and best practices
