Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education credential (SPED) valid in the state of Texas
- Proven experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
- Demonstrated ability to develop and adapt instructional plans for students with varying abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an accessible and encouraging learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction according to IEP requirements
- Administer assessments and track student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Adjust teaching strategies and supports based on data and student needs
- Maintain accurate student records and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom climate for all students
- Engage students using evidence-based methods and differentiated instruction
This contract position provides 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving a dynamic K-12 population. Working with a supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference each day.
