Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will juggle several tasks while helping members with their bakery orders. This role rewards teamwork and dedication to member satisfaction. • Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with the members of the team; be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas as needed.
• Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes or make‑up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Maintain operational excellence by keeping the work area tidy, ensuring quality and date‑control standards for bakery items, securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminating waste, and correctly packaging, labeling, and storing merchandise.
• Serve as a talent ambassador, modeling high quality service and products, and demonstrating energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use the Open Door Policy; complete work assignments efficiently using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities and communicate progress.

Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications None listed.
