I4Dentallab is seeking a skilled Dental Ceramist to join our close-knit dental laboratory team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong artistic eye and technical expertise in porcelain fabrication to contribute to a varied and interesting caseload. In this role, you will work closely with the CAD/CAM team and fellow technicians to produce high-quality, aesthetic dental restorations that meet exacting standards for fit, function, and appearance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fabricating porcelain restorations, including crowns, veneers, bridges, and implant-supported prosthetics
- Performing custom staining, glazing, and shade-matching to achieve natural, lifelike aesthetics
- Completing diagnostic wax-ups and layering techniques to meet case specifications
- Reviewing case prescriptions and digital scans to ensure restorations meet doctor requirements
- Collaborating with the CAD/CAM department and other technicians to coordinate case workflows
- Making adjustments to restorations based on quality checks or feedback
- Maintaining accurate case documentation and adhering to lab quality protocols
- Staying current on ceramic materials, techniques, and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a dental ceramist or in a similar dental laboratory role
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, morphology, and restorative principles
- Familiarity with modern dental materials such as Zirconia, E.max, and Feldspathic porcelain
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Ability to interpret case prescriptions and doctor specifications accurately
- Comfort working with digital dental workflows and coordinating with CAD/CAM designers
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet case deadlines
