Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in vibrant Bradenton, FL, supporting students at Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary. Your expertise will be needed on-site, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults across a range of programs, with collaboration opportunities alongside a dedicated team.

At Buffalo Creek Middle School, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 50 students receiving direct therapy, plus 10 on consult, focusing on low cognitive and behavioral support units. With a supportive new principal and a tight-knit setting, you’ll play a pivotal role in empowering students. At Prine Elementary, enjoy working alongside another seasoned SLP and a highly regarded SLPA. Here, your work will support intensive Pre-K, ASD, ESE, integrated, and low cognitive classrooms—amounting to around 95 students served by the SLP team.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid FL SLP License—either CCC or CFY status accepted
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in evaluating, planning, and delivering therapy to children with diverse speech and language needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for collaboration with staff and families
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in classroom and small-group settings
• Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and state guidelines
• Provide guidance to teaching teams and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Foster inclusive, positive learning environments that support each student’s growth
