Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting, focusing on LTC-related needs
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and respond promptly to changes in status
• Institute and manage IV therapy, wound care, and other standard nursing interventions
• Document assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and therapists to develop and implement patient care plans; support discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; uphold professional practice and ethical nursing conduct
• Holiday billing: holiday pay applies if the shift begins on a recognized holiday (policy specifics apply)

• Active Hawaii RN license prior to start of contract
• Must be able to work every weekend as needed
• Rotating shifts; ability to work across a 40-hour typical workweek
