About the Role:
Join our passionate team at Kids First Pediatric Dentistry as a Dental Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health for children. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on patients while working in a supportive and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and iTero Scan as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Provide compassionate care and build rapport with young patients.
- Stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Compassionate approach to patient care and education.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
