Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join the real estate finance group within the Finance Department in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with a variety of debt, debt‑like, and equity transactions related to real estate projects, with a focus on construction financing and multi-tiered capital transactions. Duties Engage in sophisticated structured real estate finance transactions. Handle preferred equity investments and distressed commercial real estate matters. Work on lender/capital provider-side and borrower-side transactions. Collaborate directly with partners and maintain client contact. Requirements 2-5 years of relevant experience in real estate finance. Excellent academic credentials. Strong writing and analytical skills. Active bar license in the location of consideration. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Proficiency in handling complex financial transactions.
