There are no limits to where you can take your career.Job SummaryThis position supports the Tallassee, Alabama manufacturing site within the Defense Business Line and serves as the site's lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional. Reporting directly to the Site Finance Director, the FP&A Manager is responsible for leading the annual operating plan, forecasting processes, long-range strategic planning, financial performance analysis, and management reporting. The role partners closely with site leadership to provide actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, identify financial risks and opportunities, and drive improved business performance across the operation. Job ResponsibilitiesLead the annual operating plan (AOP), monthly forecasting process, and long-range strategic planning activities.Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support operational and strategic decision-making.Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management leaders to drive performance improvements and achieve business objectives.Own site planning and reporting activities within the OneStream application, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely submissions.Support month-end close through comprehensive variance analysis and management reporting.Prepare executive-level financial presentations and performance updates for site and business leadership teams.Provide financial guidance and recommendations on key business initiatives, investments, and operational decisions.Evaluate capital expenditures and support return-on-investment analyses.Drive continuous improvement through financial process optimization, automation, and standardization initiatives.Lead or participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support changing business needs.Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Operations Finance, or Manufacturing Finance.Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.Strong presentation, communication, and business partnering skills.Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.Experience with financial planning and consolidation systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, Oracle Fusion, or similar platforms.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet export control compliance requirements.Preferred Qualifications:MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification.Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.Experience supporting manufacturing operations and cost accounting environments.Familiarity with government contracts, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements.Experience leading cross-functional finance projects, process improvements, or strategic initiatives.Prior experience functioning at a manager level within a finance organization.We’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
