Job Title: Trust & Safety Analyst (II)

Duration: 3+ Months

Role Overview:

We are seeking an operational Trust & Safety Analyst to monitor content review workflows, analyze high-volume abuse data, and support vendor-executed enforcement. In this role, you will analyze queue metrics, identify emerging abuse trends, triage complex escalations, and optimize review workflows to ensure maximum coverage with available operational resources.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workflow Optimization & Escalation Handling

• Vendor Quality & Calibration: Conduct sampling audits and calibration sessions with third-party vendor review teams to ensure policy application consistency and high review accuracy across high-volume queues.
• Escalation Management: Triage, investigate, and resolve high-priority, sensitive, or high-volume content safety escalations referred by vendor teams, internal stakeholders, or user reports.
• Workflow Refinement: Identify bottlenecks in routing and review queues, updating workflows and operational prioritization frameworks to increase enforcement efficiency.

2. Operational Data & Pattern Analysis

• Trend & Pattern Detection: Analyze daily review logs, volume spikes, and enforcement metrics to identify emerging abuse patterns and changing threat vectors.
• Automation & Signal Integration: Evaluate false positive/negative rates in automated flags and work alongside cross-functional partners to refine signal routing and detection thresholds.
• Performance Reporting: Monitor and report key operational performance metrics, including review latency, vendor throughput, queue accuracy, and SLA adherence.

3. Frontline Policy Review

• In-Touch Sampling: Perform periodic frontline reviews of flagged user content (including explicit nudity and adult material) to remain aligned with operational realities and frontline vendor environments.
• Feedback Loops: Document edge cases, ambiguous policies, and enforcement friction points to provide structured feedback for policy and product development.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience & Skills

• Operational Background: 2+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, risk operations, or high-volume operational environments.
• Comfort with Sensitive Material: Explicit comfort and psychological resilience working with or managing queues that contain sensitive media, adult content, and explicit nudity.
• Data Fluency: Practical experience analyzing operational datasets using tools like SQL, Excel, or data dashboards to spot trends, track SLAs, and make data-driven decisions.
• Vendor & Escalation Awareness: Familiarity with vendor operational workflows, BPO structures, and standard SLA metrics.
• Detail-Oriented Judgment: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret nuanced guidelines accurately and consistently under dynamic conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with Trust & Safety enforcement workflows, automated signal queues, or moderation tooling.
• Familiarity with vendor calibration techniques, QA auditing, or root-cause error analysis.
• Understanding of workplace wellness strategies and resilience practices within safety operations.
