Hourly pay: $30–$50/hr. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, certifications, education, and demonstrated skills. Hours of work: Monday through Friday – day shift. Mobile technicians must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as required to support business and operational needs.Apply before: September 15, 2026. As a diesel technician, you'll maintain and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks to keep our customers on the road. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance and inspections, completing repairs ranging from minor fixes to major overhauls, disassembling and reassembling components accurately and efficiently, documenting work with clear, detailed service notes, utilizing computer-based diagnostic systems, manufacturer software, and electronic tools to troubleshoot, diagnose, document, and repair diesel-powered equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.What we're looking for. Hands-on experience working on diesel engines or commercial trucks, strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality, ability to work independently and as part of a team, high school diploma and/or GED, ability to obtain and maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), class A or B, within six (6) months of employment, 4+ years of related experience and/or training preferred, ability to utilize computer systems and electronic applications for recordkeeping, communication, scheduling, and other job-related functions.At Nextran, we value skilled technicians who take pride in their craft and understand the importance of keeping commitments—to our customers and each other.
