Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele experience required.

License: Active Iowa license or compact multistate license required.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Must-Have:

• Proficiency in caring for a variety of Med Surg patients.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Experience with Heparin administration.
• Recent charge or precept experience.
• Skills in telemetry or cardiac background preferred.

Travelers will be required to float across various campuses. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 4-5:1. The unit cares for all types of medical surgical patients.
