Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry for a contract role in Austin, TX. This travel assignment requires nursing expertise in a neuro medical/surgical unit with a dynamic work environment and advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a 30-bed neuro medical/surgical unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LVNs, and PCTs
• Administer medication and monitor patient conditions using Meditech EMR
• Utilize equipment such as Welch Allyn Vital signs monitors and PCA pumps
• Perform procedures including stroke NIH assessments and wound care

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification
• IV Certification (for LVNs)
• NIH certification
• ACLS certification (preferred)
