Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: Certified preferred CAORN Must-Have: - Ability to lift 25 lbs - Proficient in English, both written and verbal - Reliable transportation - NIHSS, DCI/BVP Description: On-call hours vary, typically 16 hours Monday to Friday, except holidays. Saturdays and Sundays are 24-hour shifts. Need to work independently after department orientation. Ability to perform general surgery, neuro, spine, ortho, urology, eyes, and dental procedures. Training will be provided on-site for eyes and dental procedures. Knowledge of electronic documentation is required. Training will be provided on the EMR system used. Completion of ARN 101 training is a requirement. Standing for long periods of time is necessary.
