Experienced Accountant $80,000-$90,000 base salary (depending on experience) Greater Phoenix, AZ (hybrid schedule) Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire their next Experienced Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting and financial reporting responsibilities while working closely with leadership on process improvements, strategic initiatives, and business growth. Prepare and review journal entries while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results. Coordinate external audits and strengthen internal controls to support compliance and reporting quality. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to increase operational efficiency. Partner with business leaders on financial analysis, M&A initiatives, and cross-functional projects while mentoring junior team members.
