About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to lead its revenue strategy and support long-term organizational growth. The role oversees fundraising across individual giving, corporate partnerships, events, grants, and government funding, while developing new revenue streams such as planned giving, major gifts, and an endowment. Responsibilities include setting measurable goals, monitoring forecasts and pipelines, cultivating major donors and public-sector relationships, and securing significant gifts and multi-year commitments. The CRO will also build and mentor a high-performing revenue team, strengthen fundraising systems and data practices, and collaborate with executive and board leadership on revenue priorities. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising, advancement, or revenue-generation experience, including three or more years in senior leadership. Required qualifications include a record of personally securing six- and seven-figure gifts and corporate commitments, scaling revenue, developing planned giving programs, and obtaining and managing government funding. Applicants should bring broad knowledge of individual, corporate, foundation, and event fundraising, along with experience building accountable teams. Exceptional communication, storytelling, relationship-building, and strategic execution skills are essential; national nonprofit leadership, endowment or campaign experience, and cause-marketing or retail partnership experience are preferred.
