Video Content Specialist

The Video Content Specialist is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing high-impact video content that supports CHM's marketing and advertising objectives. This role produces compelling video assets for social media, paid advertising campaigns, websites, email marketing, and other digital channels. The position combines strong technical editing skills with creative storytelling, motion graphics expertise, and data-informed decision-making to create content that drives audience engagement and marketing performance. This position reports to the Creative Supervisor and collaborates closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, designers, and other stakeholders. WHAT WE OFFER Compensation based on experience. Professional Development Paid Training PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Produce, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for social media, paid media campaigns, websites, email marketing, and other marketing initiatives. Create engaging short-form and some long-form video content optimized for platform-specific requirements, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other channels. Develop and incorporate motion graphics, kinetic typography, animations, transitions, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and brand engagement. Work with data analyst to analyze video performance metrics, audience engagement data, and campaign results to optimize future creative assets and improve content effectiveness. Collaborate with marketing strategists, copywriters, designers, production team, and stakeholders to translate campaign objectives into compelling video content that supports measurable marketing goals. Manage the post-production process, including footage organization, editing, color correction, audio mixing, captioning, and final asset delivery. Utilize AI-powered creative and editing tools to improve production efficiency, enhance content quality, and support innovative content development. Ensure all video content aligns with CHM brand standards, messaging guidelines, and campaign objectives. Provide occasional videography support, including basic camera operation, interview setup, and on-location content capture as needed. Maintain and organize video files, templates, graphics, and digital assets to support efficient workflows and content reuse. Stay current on industry trends, video editing technologies, social media content trends, AI tools, and emerging creative techniques. CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS Creative Storytelling Motion Graphics & Animation Attention to Detail REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Film, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Experience 3+ years of professional video editing experience in marketing, advertising, agency, media, or corporate environments. Demonstrated experience creating content for social media platforms and paid advertising campaigns. Experience evaluating content performance metrics and applying insights to improve creative outcomes. Portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and digital marketing content. Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects with demonstrated motion graphics and kinetic text experience. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition. Experience utilizing AI-powered creative and video editing tools. Understanding of social media analytics, video performance metrics, and content optimization strategies. Basic videography and camera operation skills preferred. Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and post-production workflows.
