TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience in large Labor and Delivery unit, 3s/4s in postpartum, baby nurse, meconium deliveries Description: No RQI certifications required. NRP certification must be in hand upon submission due to high volume scheduling challenges. 36 or 48 hour contracts are available. No locals accepted within a 100-mile radius. COVID vaccine is optional, but reporting of COVID vaccine numbers is required. Traveling staff does not have specific weekend requirements currently. Schedule management is challenging, and there may not be guaranteed time off on weekends. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are necessary. On-call requirement: Yes, four 12-hour shifts over four weeks, or three 12-hour shifts totaling 24 hours over four weeks. Floating within scope is required to meet facility needs, including antepartum and postpartum units. Block scheduling is not guaranteed. Greater than seven days off must be approved. Circulate and FHM skills are required. Experience in a large Labor and Delivery unit/facility is mandatory. Candidates must have experience with 3s/4s in postpartum and baby nurse deliveries, including meconium. Key procedures include cerclage, version, C/S, PPTL, external and internal monitoring, AROM, and medically assisted deliveries. Additional unit information includes staffing and scheduling details, such as patient ratios and call requirements. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and adults. Daily census averages eight births. Interdisciplinary support is available and includes various services such as physical therapy and rapid response teams. Patient diagnoses may include a range of obstetric conditions. Special procedures and unit details are outlined but require prior experience. Travelers must comply with specific submission and compliance requirements. Failure to meet qualifications will result in disqualification.
