Travel L&D Registered Nurse - $1,907 per week

Position Travel RN – Labor and Delivery – Fayetteville, Arkansas (13-week assignment, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week). TotalMed Travel Job ID #1434658. Job Description We are seeking experienced Labor and Delivery RNs for an immediate travel nursing assignment. The right RN should have 3 years recent acute care experience and be prepared to provide comprehensive care before, during, and after delivery. As an L&D RN, you will be responsible for assisting physicians with epidurals, pain management, episiotomies, and cesarean deliveries; monitoring patients throughout labor; providing breathing techniques; performing cervical checks; maintaining clean and safe delivery environments; aiding in newborn immediate care; and supporting mothers emotionally. Responsibilities Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor. Monitor contractions and teach breathing techniques. Check cervix periodically to assess progression. Maintain clean, dry beds and manage bodily fluids. Aide physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, and delivery instruments. Provide immediate newborn care. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license. 3+ years acute care experience (Labor and Delivery preferred). ACLS, BLS, NRP certification (minimum 2 years of experience). Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong stress coping skills and ability to work with diverse patients. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
