IT Support Technician

Talascend is currently seeking an IT Support Technician for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Horn Lake, Mississippi.

Overview


This role involves providing comprehensive digital systems support on-site, assisting with troubleshooting, equipment management, and system configurations in a warehouse environment.


Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site contact for digital systems support
• Interact with end users to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with remote tech support and manage trouble tickets
• Initiate remote troubleshooting sessions, including capturing and sharing photos/screenshots
• Assist with ordering, handling, setup, and physical inventory of IT equipment
• Suggest and participate in technology-focused enhancements to improve site safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Work in a warehouse environment with PPE and operate a scissor lift if necessary to document network components
• Troubleshoot and manage tickets for WIFI and fiber networks, printers, and other peripherals
• Setup and configure PC and peripheral devices, including Zebra printers and handheld barcode scanners
• Coordinate with remote subject matter experts for troubleshooting and programming
• Manage site security system configurations and updates
• Program and troubleshoot conference room technology
• Manage software connection setups such as FEDEX Ship Manager and Oracle RACES, and handle ticket management for shared accounts
• Program badges and manage SSO lists

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
