The Role As our Medical Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for patients starting their recovery journey. You will manage the "business side" of the clinic, ensuring the schedule is optimized and patients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they walk in. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out, and maintain a professional and tidy lobby. Scheduling: Coordinate and confirm appointments via phone, text, email and in person using Prompt Health, our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Insurance Coordination: Help verify insurance coverage and monitor necessary authorizations for treatment. Financial Oversight: Collect co-pays, patient balances, and manage retail sales. Administrative Support: Handle phone lines, faxing, medical records requests, and scanning. Qualifications Experience: 1+ years of medical office or customer service experience (Physical Therapy or Orthopedic background preferred). Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Skills: Strong multitasking ability, proficiency with computers, and excellent verbal/written communication.
