Senior Quantitative Developer At Cboe Global Markets, we are looking for an experienced Senior Quantitative Developer who will work within a team of seasoned developers, technologists, and quants to create and improve software that processes and analyzes real‑time financial market data. Responsibilities Develop and implement quantitative models and software applications for real‑time market data processing in a high‑performance computing environment. Maintain and optimize existing software, recommending and implementing improvements. Write technical specifications, project plans, and documentation; translate business requirements into functional specifications. Communicate regularly with senior managers and technical colleagues. Process, collect, and analyze high‑frequency pricing and reference data. Monitors and improves the quality of analytical data; work with the reference data team to add or modify reference data sources. Collaborate with product managers and business development teams to prepare documentation, technical specifications, project plans, and sales material for data and applications. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in financial markets (market data, reference data, risk). Quantitative STEM background with a strong interest in financial markets, derivatives pricing, quantitative modeling, and risk analytics. Experience in financial derivatives modeling, corporate actions, securities, and derivatives reference data—including futures and options contracts. Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++; functional programming skills in SQL; working knowledge of R, Python/NumPy, MATLAB, or a similar language for data science and scientific computing. Cuda programming experience is preferred. Extensive knowledge of statistical concepts such as Bayesian modeling, hypothesis testing, linear regression, principal component analysis, tree models, and time‑series modeling (e.g., GARCH). Specific Skills Required Strong attention to detail and a highly analytical, quantitative mindset. Self‑starter ability with minimal supervision; ownership of projects from inception through release, including requirements, QA testing, documentation, and production deployment. Capacity to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a deadline‑driven environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work within a global team.
